South Australia Short Course Swimming Championships

Competing against swimmers from most Australian states, territories and New Zealand, Sethjumped off to a great start breaking the minute barrier for the 100m butterfly, one of his goals. Not only did Seth swim a quick 59.58 seconds finishing 5th but his 50m split was also a PB which he again broke later in the meet.

Seth set a sizzling pace in the 50m backstroke finishing 4th in 28.74 seconds, just missing the bronze medal by 0.08 seconds. Seth swam personal best times in fourteen of his fifteen races, including an improvements of 16.21 seconds in the gruelling 200m butterfly, finishing with the smart time of 2:15.44 seconds. Other great performances included a 8.54 second PB in the 200m individual medley and a fast 50m butterfly where Seth finished 5th and is close to breaking 27 seconds.

After excelling in his ten age events,Seth qualified for five B Open finals finishing 2nd in both the 50m backstroke and 200m butterfly.
